Krumrey is participant at the 2024 Biennale in Venice, the 60th edition of this number one international art event. His works can be seen from April 20 until November 24 at Marinaressa Gardens. Personal Structures is the biennial contemporary art Exhibition organised and hosted by the European Cultural Centre in Venice. ECC Italy is a well-established branch of the larger European Cultural Centre, a cultural organisation founded in 2002 by artist René Rietmeyer committed to further develop and enhance intellectual and cultural exchange.
About the art: Both artworks function as portal figures on a threshold. A threshold into the inner realm of consciousness, the world of transcendence, dream, mythology and trauma. Both figures embody polarities in experiencing life, both are bound and trunctated, however either ones choice on how to react on this at this represents a fundamentally different path. At this bifurcation of life a choice of either harm or heal is taken
